Satsrikal, I first thought this Guest book would be used to talk about some interesting issues regarding the Bhat sikhs however so far there has not been much discussion, can any one start a conversation topic, I would like to state that there has been a number of allegations that the some Bhat Sikhs try to give meat as langer or serve it within the compound, what are the sangats thoughts on this, also I feel that Sikhs are forgetting or have no understanding of the basic Sikh tenants ,what does the sangat think about this, I feel that the Bhats are getting left behind when taking sikh to the nest level what do you think ?.

Waheguru je ka khalsa Waheguru je ke fateh Ekta group elderly care forum. For the sikh elderly. Khalsa Je I have recently been informed that a sikh family member deceased and they went to their local gurdwara to request the use of granthi ( Ardas and Paaht) and allow the deceased hearse to have ardas said outside the gurdwara premises.UK This was refused by Gurdwara prabhandak committee on the grounds that this family were not members of that gurdwara. I always believed that the understanding was on this last journey it was a god given right for ever sikh when going to ask for this service at any gurdwara. Can a Gurdwara refuse this service Waheguru je ka khalsa Waheguru je ke fateh Gurdev Singh

Hello all, thank you for the response Mr Devinder Singh(Patiala,India).I am amazed the number is so high I assumed that our community was much smaller. I hope the figures can be verified as we could start to document the bhat communities attributes and hence start to make some kind of beneficial network/organisation.

It maybe guessed LUDHIANA,PATIALA & AMRITSAR are such cities in PUNJAB having maximum number of our community population, ranging between 50,000 to 2,00,000 in each city. Incidentally,it will be highly appreciated if Mr Avtar singh or any other member or organisation of our community, can give the approximate number of our community population,if possible, citywise, settled in the UK. We also plan to collect the toal number of our community population, in INDIA, with breakup of cities/districts/states. THANKS!

Hello all, thank you for the response Mr Devinder Singh(Patiala,India). Do you have an ideal about the number ie are there 1000s or 10,000s, and which would be the three top cities which contain the majority.
