Great site, but i disagree with why you decided to call the site bhat''RA''.co.uk this is a slang term??
ADMIN: We agree that the correct terminology is 'Bhat' and we have stated that on our About-page, but have used the word 'Bhatra' as it is the wider used term, thus making searching and finding this site easier. The site is also under known as www.Bhatsikh.co.uk as well.

To start with , i am not a member of bhat rai community. For those to which it matter i am from jatt sikh community. I would like to say thanks to the Website admin/creator for such beautifull/ rare pictures of our sikh history. Some of them are so good and shows what humble beginning we had and hardships they had to go through. What is amazing is they kept their sikhi with them. I stumbled across this website through wiki. God bless you all.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I write to bring to your attention a recent programmed called “Sweet Sikhi” which was aired on Punjab Radio on the 13th of December 2009 from 18:00 to 20:00.
The topic of this show, although one of importance, was delivered in an antagonistic and hubristic manner, which in itself rather than solve the apparent problem instead endeavored to covertly insult the Bhat clan. The topic in question dealt with door-to-door conmen and some of the callers who phoned in to the show, directly incriminated the entirety of the Bhat clan, as if we, our entire sum parts of our clan are synonymous with criminal deception. I feel we were portrayed as being completely dastardly in our essence and to be quite honest it felt like a call to arms for a problem which has a very simple solution.
For a radio station which pouts braadri oneness I find this type of broadcasting destructive to their so-called goals. These people are so inundated with their own perceptions of imaginary intelligence that although they often have poignant and pertinent topics such as discussions related to the Panj Kakaars (or something analogous and of anakh) they usually on a number of occasions, I have observed, follow up by advertising eye-threading job opportunities for their listeners.
It is quite laughable that these individuals can talk about how people are flaunting religion to make money when they themselves are willing to turn a blind eye when it comes to keeping their own platform held aloft. There is no-doubt that the solution to their problem is education of the elderly and young alike but to slight an entire set of people is as you can see from reading this letter very dangerous to all of our panth.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! I am son of JAGEER SINGH RATHORE HAMDARD (Birmingham). I am glad that I have found this website on the internet. But I am not happy about what people say in the society about Bhat Sikh's. Bhat Sikh's should stop BEGGING for money for their bad intenetions. They come and say that " We are from HARDWAAR and PINGALWARA " they bring bad intentions and other societys give wrong names to Bhat Sikh's. I am willing to say that I am a proud Bhat Sikh but because of that I am not willing to say anything. Anyways, there should not be any CASTE SYSTEM, we should all put our last names SINGH and KAUR! I HOPE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS, TRY'S TO UNDERSTAND MY WORDS AND NOT TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY! IF ANYONE GETS HURT BY MY WORDS... PLEASE OPEN YOUR HEARTS AND FORGIVE ME!
